Indroduction

Service Manager Pro is a windows-based program built on a client / server architecture developed to support the needs of the hospitality industry. It can be used in any concept hospitality service facilities, e.g. restaurants, delivery units, pubs, petrol stations, bakeries, etc. It has the capability of supporting multiple companies, locations and divisions. It is comprised of the Point of Sales (POS), Back of House (BOH), Product Cost Analysis (PCA), Payroll, Call Center and Wireless Point of Sales (WiPOS) modules..

Point of Sales (POS)

The POS module of the “Service Manager Pro” software is a powerful and user friendly module that can be used in a touch screen, barcode or a normal windows environment. It has the capability to support an infinite number of divisions that belong to one of three major categories: delivery, table service or take-away. For the table service divisions, layouts of service areas can be created that represent the actual layouts (tables, bars, entrances, kitchen, walls, etc.) of restaurants, pubs, etc. Items can be created with different sizes, fonts, colors and pictures making the POS easier to operate for the end user, minimizing the training time and cost of new staff. Each item on a single order can be sent to multiple printers and sent to multiple screens, minimizing the cost of printer rolls and wear and tear.

Back Office

Powerful Grouping, Sorting & Filtering Capability

The BOH module of the “Service Manager Pro” software has powerful grouping, sorting and filtering capabilities. Data can be sorted on any field or a group of fields either in ascending or descending order. Furthermore, data can be grouped on any field or a group of fields. Data can also be filtered to include any criteria that the user chooses with a fully customized filtering utility.

Fully Customizable Reporting Tools

The BOH module of the “Service Manager Pro” software has many powerful and customizable reporting tools. It includes from simple reports, e.g. list of items, recipes, etc., to detailed analytical reports that are powerful tools for the management, e.g. sales analysis, hourly analysis, waiter analysis, customer analysis, etc. Any report can be customized to include / exclude any criteria that the user chooses. Moreover, all reports can be exported to many popular formats for further manipulation, e.g. PDF, HTML, XML, Microsoft Excel, Rich Text, Comma Delimited, Text, etc.

Call Center

The Call Center module of the “Service Manager Pro” software has the capability to handle multiple companies (concepts) and multiple locations for each company. A single customer database is shared by all companies. Each company / location can have a different menu and prices. The module also includes a command center that enables the user to monitor locations, drivers, late orders and critical orders giving the call center the power to centrally control the whole delivery operation.

Wireless Point of Sales (WiPOS)

The WiPOS module of the “Service Manager Pro” software is a powerful and user friendly module that can be used by any PDA that has wireless capabilities and a remote desktop client. It is a miniature version of the POS that can be used wirelessly. Users can record orders while talking to the customers. No need to run back to a terminal to record the order, thus minimizing time and increasing customer service.

Product Cost Analysis (Stock Control)

The PCA module of the “Service Manager Pro” software is a powerful tool for the management. Every item can have a recipe attached to it for each division. Daily, Period and Monthly stock takes can be recorded for any number of items. The PCA will analyze opening and closing stocks, purchases, transfers, returns, usages and wastes. It will break down the actual usage into promotion, staff, discount and complimentary usage. The management can pinpoint problems by the variance between the actual and the ideal usages.

Payroll

The Payroll module of the “Service Manager Pro” software is another powerful tool for the management. Employees are grouped by departments and departments are grouped by department groups. Each department has multiple fields, e.g. break, overtime, night shifts, annual leaves. Each employee inherits these fields from his / her department. The Payroll module also has the capability of recording employer contributions, allowances and different leaves for each employee. Management can see the actual payroll cost of any location, department or department group at any time.
